As part of a colab with musician JBalvin, Dolby asked us to find ways to bring JBalvin’s unique, colourful style to life. J has synesthesia which, in his case, means he sees music in colours. Colour & design also have a huge influence on his work.
We pitched an Instagram filter that would allow fans to live JBalvin’s unique style and perspective. To sell in the idea we quickly prototyped two potential creative solutions which helped bring in the idea to life for a client unfamiliar with the technology.
In under two short weeks we went from concept through testing, implementation, approvals and debuting the filter live on Instagram.
